Florida straight-edge hardcore unit Contention brings the relentless rage of their debut album, Artillery From Heaven, to global stages. The highly anticipated 2026 Contention tour kicks off June 25, 2026, tearing across the UK and US.
They first hit Europe alongside Dogma, Everything Ends, and Clique. Returning stateside, they join the Dying Wish Tour 2026 to support Dying Wish, alongside Guilt Trip and Holder. Expect blistering sets in major cities like London, Tucson, Pomona, Spokane, and Paris, where they will be destroying iconic venues like the New Cross Inn, 191 Toole, and The Glass House Concert Hall.

About Contention
Contention is a straight-edge metalcore band from Tampa, Florida, formed in 2019. Their style fuses metallic hardcore, beatdown, thrash and intense vocals with apocalyptic lyrical themes. Best known songs include “Inflict My Will,” “I.C.B.M.” and “Ousted From Eden.” Their debut full-length, *Artillery From Heaven*, released May 3, 2024, has earned wide praise in the hardcore community for its raw power and emotional weight.
